I have an error message 641, for KB2727727. I want to remove this from my Windows Update screen. Could someone please tell me how to do this? I understand that I`m not the only person to have this problem.

While researching found a tutorial, follow the instructions mentioned in the tutorial to hide the update this is not in specific to this particular error message but for any windows update: Windows Update

Alternatively, if you want to install the update for Skype, via the Update functions in the Skype application:

In the menu bar, select Help > Check for Updates.
After checking the version, click Download, and then click Upgrade.

NOTE: Skype will automatically be updated only on PCs where Skype is already present. It will not be automatically installed on any PC that doesn’t already have Skype.

Madur B, Thank you for the reply to my query. I have followed themessage that you sent me & it removed the update. Thank You for your help!

I had A reply from Madhur B to my enquiry for KB2727727. The information he gave me was 100%. The Windows Update was removed quickly & easily within a matter of seconds. Thank You!
