Windows vista update, showing same update again and again why?

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit Japanese

Hi,
Usually when there is an update for windows I click on it and click install and after re-start I do confirm the installation and close. But on September 12, I got an update alert, I did as usual but after few seconds I got another I did it again, and after the fourth update I took the screen shot to confirm if the update is same or new and it was same update which I had already done and even showed in the confirmation "Successfully installed". Now it is 2:12 am September 13th and so far several times the same update has been appeared. Some part is copied below also screen shots for reference.

I wonder why it is appearing again and again and is there any way to get rid of this update? Any advice or suggestion will be helpful.

Additional: I ran virus soft and did not find any on computer. I cleared cookies/history. Also restarted computer but problem remain there. I have also tired to right click on the update Icon in the task tray to make it disappear but I did not.

Before posting my question I have tried as you saying.
I just returned home and when opened computer I found the update and while reading your reply I first tried to right click in the task tray icon nothing, then I clicked on the update Icon and before installation I clicked in different places but nothing did not get any menu or else.

Middle right is the installation tab IF I click that it will install but I did not and tired to right click everywhere on this screen but no avail. I hope I am suppose to click here before installation.

You must set your computer to notify and not to install.
Then you right click on the actual update
Go to control panel
>Windows update>
Click on the actual update.

Thank you for reply. You are right, that's why my computer is showing Icon in task tray for windows update. Unless I click it the update Icon it could not be installed. I prefer to confirm what is going to be installed.
This is how it works.
Update appears in the task tray
I click on it and it shows refer screen shot below. When I click on install tab

It start downloading, refer screen shot

After completion it shows confirmation, refer screen shot

After confirmation when I check if installation was successful or not, refer screen shot


As you can see above unless I choose to install it won't so question is how I am suppose to change settings any further?

PS* Control Panel/Windows update/Right click on update do not work just checked.
