| Newbie Rep Power: 13 ![]() | Vista Ultimate x64 Update Errors Hi, I have tried searching for answers to this problem (here and through Google and the Microsoft site) and no luck with the suggestions. When trying to run Windows Update I get the error code 80072F8F I also get this when trying to update Windows Defender: 1.1.1505.0 My system clock is correct along with the BIOS clock. I have run sfc /scannow a few times and it reports nothing. I really do not want to reformat and reinstall. Especially since this install is only a month old. Anyone here have suggestions how to fix it other than making sure that the system clock is set correctly? |

| Newbie Rep Power: 13 ![]() | You probably have already checked but you should have the correct time-zone and date set. If they are all correct i can't see why its still wrong |
