Hi CDEXTER,
This sounds like you may have a duplicate email account. If you have duplicate email accounts, then whenever you do something in Windows Mail it will do it for as many duplicate email accounts you have. In Windows Mail, click Tools -> Accounts. See if you have more than one email account with the same email address listed. If you do, then delete the duplicates.
If the contacts are duplicating as well, then that just means you have Windows Mail set to put people you reply to in your Contacts list. This is related to the above problem.
If you do not want this option, then in Windows Mail:
1. Cick Tools -> Options
2. Click Send tab
3. Uncheck Automatically put people I reply to in my Contacts list
4. Click OK
