Looking for IE6 x64

Hello,

Like the title says, I'm looking for pretty much any version of Internet Explorer 6 that will run on my vista 64 bit system.

I've been pondering microsoft.com for two hours now, and either my skills at searching are below par, or they really hid it well.

I need this version to fix a webpage that this old browser does not display as it should.

hi tobias, only this i can think of doing to get IE6 is to try and run the full IE 6 setup for XP in compatabily mode. But this may also brake vistas IE 7

how ever, Im also a software developer and my trick is virtual machines, basicly they allow you to run other systems within your current system (in a window), the best part is when you nolonger want the virtual machine you just delete it.

so if you have a copy of xp, server 2003, 2000, me or 98 then install a copy on a virtual machine as these all support IE6.

Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is free from the microsoft website and is very simple to use.

Thanks for our solution.

I ended up spending a night looking for more info, and I wound up at the virtual machines too.
Still, late is better than never - hopefully others will benefit.

Worked like a charm and I can certainly recommend it to others.

I am hoping that running Virtural PC will not only allow me to run the more app compatable IE6 but also resolve my issue with Nortel VPN not being compatable with Vista X64.
