Internet Explorer has stopped working (Revisited)

Two very important sites crash IE. Coincidentally, I think this started occurring immediately after I entered the Vista product ID.
Sites I have tried that don't work:
Google
Mozilla | Firefox web browser & Thunderbird email client (I had not tried this before registering Vista) All sites that I have tried that do work: *.msn.com Mozilla.org - Home of the Mozilla Project CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News Yahoo!
I have read every forum discussion I can find but have not found a working solution for me. I have turned off DEP. I have reset IE settings. I have turned off Protected Mode. Etc.
I am running Vista Ultimate.
Please help.

Go to the sites again, but note date/time. Then check the Event Viewer (eventvwr.msc) - Custom Views - Admin Events for crash using date/time to find it. 2x click on entry. Copy it and paste it into post. There maybe driver name or ?? that can provide clue.

Also check out WERCON - Prob Reports & Solutions (wercon.exe) - view Problems to Check and Problem History. While in Problem History, 2x-click on a crash entry, click on "Copy to clipboard" - lower-left and paste into post. Again... clues may be there.
