Sony Vgn-cr220e laptop vista 32 won't boot up

Hi! *I have a Sony Vaio Laptop (vgn-cr220e) running Vista 32. *I've not been able to start windows *for a few weeks now. *It all began when I was running out of hard drive space and it got down to .92 megabytes, when I turned it off for the night. The following day I bought a My Book backup drive so I could transfer all my photos, data, and personal files to it. But when I went to turn it on, windows would not start. *I bought a WD My Book, tried to install It, but it wouldn't allow me to install it in safe mode, I proceeded to just manually copy as much as I could think of to this external hard drive, I was able to*free up about 40 g of space. *But I still have a few other files I'd like copied over but now it will not allow me back into safe mood. *I only see a screen with loaded files and it stops at loaded: \windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys and is stuck.

I've done hard drive checks, memory checks and everything is good but still will not load windows completely.*

I do not have a restore cd, installation disk of Vista (vista is pre installed) nor does it give me any of my restore points I've created over the past couple months.

Thanks in advance

Karen Mae
