"File discription" edit question.

In Vista, how do I get information in the "file discription" line of the file detail view of a file. Ive tried all the obvious ways including the properties menu but that doesnt work. I think it might be a security or administration settings but
I went through everything and nothing seems to get it to work. Im sure there's a way, just cant find it. Any info would be great! Thanks.

Hmm right click on the file > properties > file description?

Doesn't work. Ive tried all the direct routes that I can think of, that is one of them. Properties doesnt show file discription in the menu only the default detailes are listed. I tried adjusting the security settings but it doesnt change anything. Im guessing there is a deeper system program that I need to adjust to alow access but I dont know what or if that really is the problem.
