Hi peterivan, welcome to the board.

It would be really helpful if you post your computer specs and how and when the blue screen occurred. What sort of trouble shoot you have done? How long you have had the computer?

Have try to restore system back at the dates before problem appeared? System repair?

How about blow out the dust inside the unit with can air. Main while you can check to see if all components and connectors are set and secure. Pay extra attention to the SATA connection at the HDD and mother board; disconnect and reconnect, wiggle and tug on it. If problem persists, run memtest and chkdsk.

Good luck and post back.

From the information you provide, the STOP error you are receiving is STOP 0x00000116 ("BCCode: 116"), and Microsoft has this to say about it:

The VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR bug check has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

This would seem to indicate a problem with your display driver. My suggestion to you would be to download and install the latest NON-BETA drivers for your graphics card from either nVidia or AMD/ATI. If this fails to resolve the problem, then you may have faulty graphics hardware that will need to be tested replaced.
