Solved Can't alphabetize programs list

I no longer get "sort" in the drop down menu when right clicking on program list in start menu. In XP, the "sort" always appeared.
Also is a way to have windows automatically sort all programs?

in vista, i believe the default setting is to have all of the programs automatically sorted alphabetically, hence, no "sort" in the right click menu. i went to start menu properties and unchecked the box, and lo and behold, the sort option was there. personally, i like not having to right click and select sort.
