I do digital art and right now am climbing the walls with the not quite failure of Drag and drop in Vista 64. Windows keep opening fully of their own accord and items I want to look at on-line are deleting before I can get near them. That is in a page full of images that I want to view individually and comment on.
I have tried all manner of anti virus programs, my drivers are all up to date. Vista is fully updated and I cannot find any adware or spyware on my system. Windows Defender is active. Windows Firewall is active and I am currently running AVG Free version which is the same as the copy I purchased a year ago. When you had to pay for a 64 bit AVG.
I have Administrator activated and have no idea how to deactivate it. The forums I have looked at say it cannot be deactivated.
I have found other people are having this problem or ones very similar. They seem to be struggling as am I.
I think people like us who have paid for this software should be able to obtain a free update to Windows 7 when It is screwing up their daily work.
