Please help!!

Hello, recently my desktop icons have disappeared. I have learned that all I need to do is type in ctrl, alt, delete and make a new process (explorer.exe) and they came back. But when I turn off my computer and when I let it run they disappear again. I have no idea what to do. If anyone can help me make it so I do not have to type in explorer.exe every time I turn on my computer or leaving it running I will very much appreciate it. Thanks.

How long has this been happening ?

If it only started a few days ago have you tried doing a System Restore to just before the went missing.?

I'm not saying it will work but it wont do any harm to try and it could solve the problem

This has been happening for a week now and I am sick of it. I have tryed system restore and nothing.

Sorry my answer didn't help, one observation is though that as you haven't filled in your system specs we don't know what type of machine we are dealing with, whether it's a laptop or desktop and what sort of specs it has.

It would help the experts if they know what type of machine it is, that way they have a better chance of giving you a solution.

Alright I did the second 1. I am going to restart my computer to see if this works.

That did not work. All I want is to make is so explorer.exe comes on when I start up my computer.

Use the diag suite in my sig to fill in your specs. Can you also run a full system scan with Malwarebyte's?

If malwarebytes brings anything up delete it, and fill in your system specs while its downloading.
