Recycle bin help please.tried everything.

Recycle bin help please.tried everything.Pretty much says it all can't empty recycle bin tried everything I could find on the forum and nothing helps takes forever sometimes won't work at all.started deleting recycle bin at 4 pm is now 6 pm still calculating time remaining tried different things with command prompt nothing worked turned off a wimdows feature remote differential compression did not help anyone have anything like this?

Sound like your windows explorer isn't working right. Can you copy files ok?
Have you restarted? (if not, do so.)
See if CCleaner will empty it?

Yes it is definatly windows explorer gives me allkinds of crashes after a few minutes of uptime gave up trying to run sidebar copying or moving files takes forever always get explorer restarting and occasionally bsod.tried three installs of hp vista 32 bit home premium with different disks and this is the most stable unfourtunatly I am out of warranty.Don't seem to matter since I have the disk from factory.I'll try cccleaner.

cccleaner works great. If I try myself it takes forever.And still have the windows explorer problems maybe i'll start a new thread after I see if I can find a fix although I alredy looked into that problem to and don't know anything about fixing it.I mean I'm not a programmer just an avareage user.

What anti-virus (if any) software do you have? I doubt if you've been reinstalling the full Operating System over again that you would have a virus, but it might be a good idea to scan just in case.
You said you just installed Vista? What kind of hardware are you using (like how much RAM, and your CPU) for example, You could have 1GB of RAM and 1.33GHz processor.
You may not have the minimum requirements needed to run Windows Vista, therefore it will just not function properly.

Norton internet security 2010,Scan with norton and spybot nothig.2.4 gig core 2 quad,4 gigs ram,HP m9300t have reqs just wont give me any performance.:cry:
