Trouble with Toolbar at the top of Vista

My friend was using his Vista and his toolbar at the top of the screen suddenly dissapeared. If anyone can help please do so, if someone has already addressed this in another post i apologize.

No sense doing it the 'hard' way. . . Here's the easy way:

For the WINDOWS EXPLORER tool bars:
Either go into Windows Explorer and select Organize, Layout, + check: Menu Bar OR go to Windows Explorer and press the Windows key + E. Now press just the Alt key. Magically, the Alt key causes the Menu Bar to appear.

For the INTERNET EXPLORERTool Bars, just put your cursor in the Tool Bar area and right-click. Then place a checkmark in front of whichever toolbars you want: e.g. Menu Bar, Favorites Bar, Status Bar, et al.
