For some reason, all the text is no longer appearing in dialog boxes, such as printing, downloading, and installing--and even Avira status boxes. The buttons show up and the box border, but no text of any kind. I tried reinstalling Java and JRE and I tried all the personalization stuff. I even downloaded Ultimate UI Tweaker and nothing. Does anyone have suggestions. I'm fairly computer literate, but I'm no programmer. I tried a an MS-sanctioned registry cleaner, but aside from pointing out that I had errors, it didn't do much to repair anything.
