I created an autorun.ico file in the root directory of my USB hard drive. I also created the appropriate autorun.inf file. The image displayed perfectly in all views when I reconnected the hard drive.
Now the problem. I changed the autorun.ico to a different image and then rebooted. The new image displays properly when in small icons, list, and detail views. If I change to medium, large, or extra large views, it still displays the previous image. There seems to be a cache of the old picture lingering. Anyone know how to update so all the images display the new picture?
