Bsod while playing GTA 4,help please!

So i bought a computer 4 weeks ago and i started playing gta 4 but i have a problem which is,i get bsod-ed,sometimes it says
Memory Manage
and sometimes it says
irql_not_less_or_equal
or sometimes i get a bluescreen in 1 sec and it quickly restart lol so i cant see the message...
if u want the long 000000 thing i can give it to u,i took a picture in my cell phone..but its charging right now,
Also i've read a certain thread about BSOD,i checked C:\windows\minidump\
there is nothing inside-.-,also i wanna know how do i check my message of bluescreen after getting it?
Also,i used NVIDIA system monitor to check if it is over heat of GPU and CPU,it seems not,
While not playing gta 4, 4 cpu are around 45C
and GPU remains 40C all the time
while playing it goes up to around 55C and 60 sometimes..

ATM im downloading SP 2 to see if it solves my problem,anyway i would really be thankful to whoever helps me,because i rly wanna fix this problem..thanks :D

Bluescreen only happens while playing GTA 4(happened once while im not but only once..)
Also i found a *.dmp file on C:\Windows but its 205MB
and its called memory.DMP is it the one?

the dump file is that large because it is set to entire memory in system control panel. you should go into the system control panel>advanced settings>start up and recovery>change to kernal dump

How to set the system to record minidumps: Set MiniDump
Also, you can upload the 205 mB file to a file hosting service, then post the link to it here so we can download it.
In the event that you have the Windows Debugging Tools installed, you can generate a minidump using the command:

Ok so i've setted it,also i have a question..
Vista:
Go to Start and type in "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button
Ensure that "Automatically restart" is unchecked
Under the Write Debugging Information header select "Small memory dump (64 kB)" in the dropdown box
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as "%systemroot%\Minidump" (without the quotes)
Click OK twice to exit the dialogs, then reboot for the changes to take effect.

what does that means?it wont restart again?or what?thanks.

i've setted the thing you asked me to,but i wanna ask,what happen if i uncheck the "auto restart" button?

It means your pc won't restart when it has a heart attack. What are your system specs? You can use the diag suite in my sig to identify what components you have. Also, what resolution are you gaming at? GTA IV needs a lot of cpu and ram.

Minidumps are technically a summary of a full dump. In other words, the ability to correctly generate an intact full dump is a prerequisite for a minidump.

In situations where you're seeing a memory.dmp being created but not a corresponding minidump, the cause is almost always corruption or truncation of the full dump.

Make sure you're not rebooting the machine prematurely during the BSOD - let it finish when it says it's "dumping physical memory to disk".

That CPU isn't built for gaming - clocks are a bit low and the gpu will be close to exhausted after a round of GTA IV. Jack up the memory too. You have enough cooling in the case?

Are you saying that the "dumping pysical memory" BSOD process always appears to hang at 20% or so?

How long it takes depends on several factors including the amount of resident kernel-mode code and the speed of the disk subsystem. Generally it'll be a couple of minutes at most on a home-type system.

If you've waited say 15 minutes and it always stops and fails to proceed past ~20% that could be indicative of underlying hardware issues, or possibly a type of crash where the ability of the OS to generate an intact dump has been compromised.

Unfortunately, both would be more difficult to troubleshoot than your original issue

Hmm i dont rly know much about computer,but i aint newbie,like i know what cpu and ram are better than each other..etc
I thought quad cpu is already very good...damn..
And btw what is clocks?
And should i change my GPU to geforce 9800?i thought 9600 is awesome...
Also is there any GPU that has more than 512 mb?
actually i have 1 TB of memory..
but the rest are on D:\
And i actually have 4 gb ram but mine is 32 bit soo...
also can someone explain what is the different between 32 bit and 64 bit?Thanks !

Also i checked my cpu temp before
Its normally 45~55C while not playing gta 4
While playing gta 4 sometimes it remains 50~60C.
And i opened 1 side of the case,but it is the back of CPU,GPU those...because on another side of the case...there is a fan

...After 5 mins i posted the thread...there is another bluescreen...i wasnt playing gta 4..i was trying to check my cpu temp but then it bluescreened..

Always wait until the physical memory dump is finished.

Unticking "auto start" has no effect whatsoever on whether the BSOD happens or not. All it does is control whether the box sits on the BSOD screen waiting for you to restart it yourself, or whether it'll reboot itself once the memory dumping is completed.

Overheating falls into the "hardware fault" category. If you have any reason to suspect inadequate cooling, test what happens when you remove the side of the case and point the biggest mains fan you've got squarely at the motherboard. If that unequivocally reduces the frequency of BSODs or even stops them from happening, you know heat is at least part of the problem.

The minidump you attached is also corrupted. That may be because of the nature of the crash or because of the way it was subsequently handled. Try zipping up and uploading a few more.

hmm,im not rly sure what case i have,i am chinese lol...
its a black big ass box...at the back there is some small hole and at the left side there is some hole and a fan too,i opened the right side of the case to let it cool down
i tried to open the left side and use my big fan to cool it down,it went down around 5C
but since i cant unplug the fan at the left side...i have to keep it there..
and dang the minidump file is corrupted??
when i had the bluescreen...it says
physical memory dump finished...but it didnt restart itself,so i restarted myself...

Editerhaps it is because my computer are cantonese(chinese) so its corrupted for you??not sure lol.

No, minidumps are just memory. They're not "localised" (they don't come in different languages).

As a suggestion, try uploading more of them. It's possible that subsequent minidumps will be intact.

Its your case. If you want to play games you need air. Removing the side panel will make it worse. Ideally, you'd want one exhaust at the top, one at the back, 2 intake at the front and one on the side.
