New HDTV detected

Hello all,

I have had my computer connected to my Bravia TV via a HDMI cable for about two years or more. I use the recommended settings.

Recently, at computer startup, Windows Vista Ultimate will sometime give the message "New HDTV detected, it has been installed using recommended settings and is ready for use".

All cables are connected probably. Nothing has changed except for Windows' updates and a few new software installations.

Except for the Windows' message there is nothing noticeably different.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Thank you Mr.Needs. I will leave the situation as it is. It's not bothersome. A balloon message from Windows appear in the lower right hand corner of the screen and soon disappears if I do not click on it.
