RDC Problems viewing Video

I am running Vista x32 Ultimate SP2 on my "DVR Machine".
I have no problems viewing or opening video files on the local machine. The only software that is running is SuperDVR. I am able to see the video in and playback the recorded video with not problems.

I am running Vista x64 Ultimate SP2 on my Remote Machine.
When I connect to the DVR Machine, through RDC (remote desktop connection)on my local network, I am able to see all the files and open the SuperDVR software. I am unable to see the live video feeds through the RDC. I am able to view any older recordings which are saved as avi files.
I am able to make changes to settings in the SUpreDVR software, just not see the live video.

I have set the RDC to LAN connection and turned of the UAC on the DVR Machine.

Any other suggestions?

When you are connected via RDC to a machine, its video functions are very very limited.
Maybe this is why you can't see live video.

Is there anyway of improving the video function? Someone told me to try port forwarding. Not sure how to set that up.

No, port forwarding is lan-related.
Try to configure RDC connection in "Options >>>" enabling all options in "Performance".
Hope it helps.
