Windows media player issue

for some reason, for the past week, windows media player and center both will not play videos or music. When I try to start WMP it displays "Media sharing is currently disabled..." and it crashes. Also when when a song is played it displays "error c00d11b1". I cannot stream videos using WMP either. Any ideas on how to fix this? Ask me for any helpful info about my system.
