Please help. I need a version of the old cardfile.exe program that will run on Windows 7. Nothing else I have tried is so easy to use. There was a thread to rapidshare in July 2012 that seemed to indicate someone has a working version. I am desparate to get a copy. Can anyone help?

Thank You so much. Can you tell me how to have it automatically open my file.
It used to be you created a shortcut and add cards.crd after the quotes to open it. I could not get that to work but it sure is great to have it back.

shortcut was "c:\cards\CARDFILE.EXE" cards.crd

I sure do appreciate your help!!!

Hi lapus,

My shortcut is;

"C:\Program Files\CARDFILE\Microsoft_Cardfile_64-bit.exe" supplier.crd

I think you might have to modify yours a little to match the new name and to take into account where the program was saved. (Check the spelling of microsfot and ensure both the shortcut and the .exe file use the same spelling)
Thanks for the tip - adding a .crd file onto the end of the shortcut. This is the one I use most and there is no change in the way I select any other. If you have more than one .crd you can tidy up the presented list by hitting 'organise' up top left on the list and unchecking all the boxes in 'layout'. Then click on 'Type' or 'Size' and deselect any superfluous columns. Then swap the attributes away from 'read only'.
If you've done all this anyway - sorry!

Regards Bob
