Messenger & WMP11 Question

If spent most of the morning looking for solutions to this problem and there seems to be no information anywhere on if there is a a way round it. I'm using the 64-bit version of WMP11 so that I can use the taskbar plugin in 64-bit Vista. However I also want to use the Now Playing Plugin which shows what song you are listening to.

In the 32-bit version it is there but not in the 64-bit version. I assume it's due to the fact that either the plugin is only 32-bit or messeger is only 32-bit. I'm trying to find a plugin or a way around this so my 64-bit version will do what I want it to do, but nobody seems to have any clue.

Any ideas??

I have this problem. It's weird though...

I installed Windows Live Messenger as the first thing after Vista x64, and the plugin was there, worked fine. Worked fine for a few days, then it just suddenly disappeared yesterday morning. It was back this morning while I was at school, but when I got home and opened up my laptop, it was gone again.

I don't know why it does this. Any ideas?

Vista Ultimate x64, 1.6Ghz AMD Turion64 x2, 1gb RAM, 120gb hard drive.
Don't know if that helps, but that's my laptops spec.

Like I said about the 64-bit not having the now playing plugin. Vista 64-bit comes with both versions installed, one in the Program Files folder for 64-bit version and one in Program Files (x86) for the 32-bitversion. You may just be loading up the different versions as they will look exactly the same as they still use the same database, the only noticnle different would be with the plugins in the 64-bit version.

I have noticed since first posting that because the 32-bit version has the now playing plugin and also the taskbar toolbar, unless your desperate to use the 64-bit version just use the normal 32-bit version and both will work fine.
