I've got a frustrating problem. Just built a new computer and installed a new soundcard (omega striker 7.1). I uninstalled the audio drivers that came with my motherboard then installed the audio drivers with my sound card.
Everything works except for 1 problem - the sound slider at the bottom left does not open and the audio mix does not open either. I have looked everywhere, reinstalled drivers, took out my sound card put it back in, uninstalled everything, reinstalled everything - no luck. Even the motherboard soundcard with drivers will not allow the slider to open.
Dont know what to do.
Any body had a similar problem?
