As posted by someone else, I am trying to run a recovery on my Dell Inspiron 531S desk top with Vista Home Premium Operating system. and am told that
I need an "administrator password". To the best of my knowledge, I never changed this password after purchasing the computer. But after guessing many times with other passwords that I have used for other purposes in the past. I am told that this functioned is locked, and to check with my "administrator", which is me. I have found this site which provides me with a program that should allow me to create a "boot disk" to resolve my problem. I also have the same problem with my Acer laptop using Vista Home Basic.This is the site that I refer to: Offline Windows Password & Registry Editor. However, after downloading the program for the CD boot disk, I can't get the ISO program unzipped and transferred to a CD. I am hoping that someone more talented than me, can email an unzipped copy of the program, so I can attempt to resolve my problems on both computers
