An Outlook Question..

Is there a way I can export my Outlook Contacts so I can use them on my laptop as well as my desktop? I have a massive list on my desktop, but I do not want to have to re-enter all of them by hand into the Outlook 2007 on my laptop. Maybe a file I can copy to the network drive or something?

Mine is slightly different as I have outlook with BCM, but you should get the idea

File -> import/export -> export to a file -> Personal folder file (.pst) -> select contacts -> set the export location -> finish

Then just import the file from the same menu on your laptop.

I think you can make a backup of your pst file and then import it to your lap top. Check out How to manage .pst files in Outlook 2007, in Outlook 2003, and in Outlook 2002 and see if that will help you out. I'm assuming you are going from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2007. I ran into a problem with going from 2000 to 2007 but I got it fixed and working properly. Hope that helps!
