Ummmm Huhhhh Ummmmm,
Ummmm I just ummm, dropped a duff, yes one of these....
on my wonderful, beloved,, beautiful keyboard that is integral to my lovely, but homely HP laptop...., and be like the good Professor that I am, I um,, quickly turned my dear little poor laptop upside down, ans shook tha' holy crap out of it, to excise the duff demons, rather than, immediately shutt'in down the machine... getting the "air in a can"...and doing everything right.....like waiting a few hours or even running up the temp a tad, with it in my oven....
Funny thing, while I was holding my poor Innocent machine by its ankles, slapping it on butt firmly to keep it conscious....It was flashing a booting then finding restore points only existing in the twilight zone...
Of course in this state of "Duffdom" and shear panic I was inadvertently turning my wonderful machine on and off, kinda' like a hard boot, soft boot, half boot, punt, kick, cry and swinging the A.C. power cord like the monkeys at the zoo slinging thier own poo poo at you...but worse.......Alot worse...
Ohhh well,,,,,
As a Professional un-screwer upper,,,,,I guess its true....The saying that doctors never take care of themselves or family.....Looks like it's true, us crazy bubble headed (no pun intended) crazy digital flipper floppers, are a nutty gang of misunderstood creatons.
Anybody out there in good ole' digital land have a nightmarish true or untrue story to share ??
