How do you find out if your system needs a BIOS update, I bought my system new in 2008 and have not really done to much as far as updating except for auto updates from Microsoft...

As a side note, if your are not having problems leave it alone
I had my Windows 98 for 10 years; never had an update of BIOS and never had problems

I have been having some problems for about 2 weeks I have ran a full updated AV came out NEG, ran a full scan of malwarebytes: Neg , Defrag, scan disk, CCleaner not the regisrty cleaner, all the flickering, my e mail accounts in my computer started disappearing, lets say when I logged in on the forum or internet I would look down and start typing and then look up and there was nothing there so I would click and retype and it would work. My e mail since yesterday well there was now which was very strange, so I went to my IP page and typed in as far as password and there were like 23 incoming e mails, I went in and deleted the e mail account and redid it twice before it would take effect, I now have my email back as far as the rest I guess I will have to see everything is coming back the way it should so I don't understand it or what happened..
