I am having an issue with these darn black boxes that will cover unique program icons, but my folder icons are ok. How can I stop this?
I read a thread on here that temporarily solves the problem, which was:
Change desktop color quality to 16bit
Restart machine
Change desktop color quality to 32bit
Solved.
BUT, everytime I restart/shutdown my computer, the same thing happens again. It wouldn't be bad if this was a rare occassion, but not all the time. I honestly do not think I changed any settings around concerning shortcut arrows and whatnot. So I don't know what the problem is.
Can anyone offer any advice please?
