hello,
this may sound like a stupid question, but how do i zip and upload. Also windows have given me a reason why the bluescreen error occured, you recieved this message because a hardware device, its driver or related software has caused the blue screen error, solution uninstall any new software and before you do anything else update to service pack 1,i am currently using service pack 2.they don,t tell me what hardware device could have caused the problem, but just before it happened i had installed malwarebytes antimalware it had been scanning for about 16 secs when bluescreen error occured.

Hello,

To zip something up, navigate to the Minidump folder, highlight everything inside and right click, then select "Send to" > Compressed (Zipped) folder. Else, you can download the free 7-Zip, but this is easier. Now post here (not quick reply) then click the paperclip at the top. In the new window, select the zip file (copied to your Desktop first) then click upload. When it has finished, close that window and submit your post. Thanks!

The reason Windows told you was just general. BSODs are caused by faulty hardware (memory) and drivers.

Also, if you suspect Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (and it seems a suspect), remove it and see if the problem continues.

This is the results of your bugcheck.

STOP 0x000000D6: DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_BEYOND_END_OF_ALLOCATION

Usual causes: Device driver

The faulting driver is mbam.exe.

This is part of Malwarebytes.
Un-install Malwarebytes and reboot.
You could try and download the program again and see if it works OK after a re-install. It may just of been a bad file.

Also, open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc/scannow press enter and let it scan. If errors are found, you may need to run it more than once.
This will check the file system for errors.

I will check the rest of your drivers and post if there are any that need updating.

Give this a try and post your results, good luck.

hello,

i,ve had no joy with malwarebytes antimalware,i uninstalled then reinstalled ran scan for 25 seconds then ended up with blue screen error,i have uninstalled again.blue screen error does not stay on long enough for me to read it.

My Computer

It would seem that Malwarebytes does not like your machine.
Try another program, such as this one.

SUPERAntiSpyware.com - Downloads

If this one causes errors, then we will have to dig deeper to find the cause.

i downloaded super antispyware and guess what bluescreen error only this time pc won,t reboot it,s doing a startup repair at the moment.

My Computer

hello,
windows could,nt do a startup repair, had to do a system restore instead.what are your views on avg antivirus i have installed on my system at the moment but some of the reviews i,ve read it causes a lot of bluescreen errors.don,t know if thats the problem on my system.free version of avg.

My Computer

I don't think AVG caused the BSOD you have been experiencing, it was definitely Malwarebytes, and as Super anti spyware did the same, its got to be something on your system, the problem is what ?.
Until this is fixed, un-install AVG, just to be on the safe side.

Check the file system first.
Open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc/scannow press enter and let it scan, if errors are found you may need to run it again.

Next go to this site and carry out a full scan, (if it will do it without crashing).

Trend Micro HouseCall - Free Online Virus and Spyware Scan - Trend Micro UK

This will ensure your file system is in good order and has no corruptions.

Also, upload any new dump files and i can take a look at them, there may be a clue there.
Go to Event Viewer and see if there are any errors there that will give us a clue as to what is going on.

Hello !!

I would recommend to enable the Driver Verifier and let it run for 36 hours so it might catch the exact driver that has caused the crash. Follow the instrcutions Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers - Windows 7 Forums

For Malewarebytes download REVO Uninstaller Free version and run a complete cleanup !! How to Completely Remove Malwarebytes | eHow.com

Hope this helps,

My Computer

i,ve already tried that was,nt running very long before the system crashed, also i have done a diagnostic hardware scan this morning and everything passed,i did find something in event viewer each time system crashed seems to be after windows has done automatic update could that have anything to do with it or is it just coincidence.
