Hello wildhorse,
Go to C > Windows > Minidump > zip up the dump files and upload them with your next post, you may need to move them to your desktop first.

STOP 0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Usual causes: Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint in startup without having a debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, 3rd party remote control, Memory

STOP 0x000000BE: ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY

Usual causes: Device driver, Memory

One was caused by bdftdif.sys. This is part of BitDefender
If you have BitDefender installed, uninstall it, just to eliminate it.

The other one was Caused by volsnap.sys
The Volsnap.sys file refers to the 'Volume Shadow Copy'
Go into Services., and disable it.

Or you can try this.
Boot into recovery console, and replace Volsnap.sys with the
original one on the install cd. This should be in your %SYSTEM_ROOT%
\system32\drivers folder.

Here is a tutorial, it will show you how to extract files from your Vista DVD/CD.

I will take a look at your drivers when i go over the dump files again.
Try the easy bits first, and see how you go.
Good luck and post your results.
