cant partition vista

hi, i had my drives partitioned before by someone who isnt around now..everytime i try to partition it n open computer management only disk(!) D n (2)E appears unallocated 0MB n no media !!!!!!! no C or G drives appear i dunno wat to do :( plz help:)thx a lot

Usually when you can't partition a HDD is when there is no room to partition the HDD because system files like page.sys and system restore points and maybe .DMP files are taking up space at the end of you HDD. To fix this you need to know what files you need to move/delete and you will need to Defragment your HDD.
