Hopefully someone can give me some ideas to try. After my system wakes up from S3 sleep the dvd-rom (D
drive shows up just fine in my computer but fails to see any disc currently in the tray or fails to read any disc i put in it until after a reboot in which it works fine again....until the next S3 sleep.
I've tried pulling this Asus dvd-rom out and switching it with a Sony drive but same problem. I have updated the bios, updated firmware and even after SP 1..same problem. Anyone got any ideas?
My (E
Dvd-RW drive plays just fine after sleep though.
