Cd drive not working

I am running Vista on my laptop and I just tried putting a CD for my printer in the cd drive. The computer is not recognizing it for some reason. In device manager under dvd\cd-rom drives there are 3 items listed. All with yellow exclamations over them. I tried to update them there and it told me the best drivers were already installed. How do I fix this?

Welcome
They are corrupt. Make a system restore point, in case we need to go back. Then uninstall the drivers (one at a time) then reboot, do the same for each and the drivers should be replaced. After the first reboot, make sure the driver has been replaced before trying with the others.
Make sure that windows updater is set to install.

or probably the easier method
Uninstall one at a time and use Device Manager to install the most current.

I just tried uninstalling and rebooting and they were all there again with the same exclamation marks. This time in my computer there is a drive visable that says "Photosmart d110 series" but the disc isn't even in the drive!? It wasn't in there when I shut down and rebooted either. When I click it says the location is unavailable? What do I do now?

Also, I am using an ASUS laptop. Model# X83VB if it helps

I tried to find the drivers for the cd rom but had no luck. Anyone know a specific link where I can get there?
