Chrome Frame Not Using Aero Theme Now

For those who maybe wondering why their Chrome title bar now looks like XP blue color

Comment #19 from that link:

"Hello there, this change was intentional. Let me explain.

Once upon a time the chrome code was the same across all versions of windows, but over the last 4 years we have added lots of features and enhancements that only work for a subset, like only for windows 8+ for for windows 7 or windows 7 and Vista, etc. Along the way the number of users on Windows Vista has decreased significantly, to the point that the preview channels (canary and dev) have very few Vista users.

This makes it likely we could accidentally break the Vista users.

We had two options to regain coverage on the preview channels: align the Vista code to the Win7 code or to align the Vista code to the XP code. However in most important features the Vista code is already like the XP code so we decided to align it to XP across all features we can. In this case the frame.

Windows XP has 3 times the number of Vista users so we feel that the coverage is much better now.

This had a precedent, windows 8 and 8.1 don't have a translucent frame either."

You can change the look or theme at the Chrome Web Store.
