dll error

When I try to install older program to vista, finally figured out how to use program compatibility wizard, but then uninstalled program to see if I could install it again, second time trying to install using program compatibility wizard error message came up during installation( c:\windows\system32\oleaut32.dll ) can someone help me fix this plse.

The easy way to fix the problem is to use system restore to go back a few days before the uninstall.

Uninstalling, may leave corruption and remnants which may cause installing problems later on.

yes it is compatible because i had it on there working, then i uninstalled it and guess i uninstalled too much cause when i tried to reinstall is when that message came up
