Now that I conduct all my personal and business transactions via the internet, what will happen if it crashes. I live in Tennessee and my bank is in Texas so I can't just walk in and withdraw funds. Even if I could would I be able to obtain funds if the internet went down. I have no paper trails for bills or items paid.

Am I alone or are there others here in the same shape?

Redundancy will save you. Despite the fact that you "think" you've just begun doing all your banking "on the internet", the fact is, you've been doing it that way for a long, long time; they just never told you. The transition is just now complete... resistance is futile.

Just send $10.00 to Nez,care of:

Dodgy Banking plc;
Cell 13;
UK. :geek:

If the net crashes,during a transaction,your details will still be safe,as the bank will have good security? back-up.All accounts are stored on one big "super hard drive",which is interconnected to all banks.So if one bank lost all their details,the next branch would still have them,or even a different bank,even if you do not bank with them.

Er...that statement has made me more paranoid now...:sick:

I cant help but blame the US yet again, Everytime there's a crisis its always due to some company or government in the USA who causes all the problems :rolleyes:

If the net goes down, Then I am doomed. Coz the the only way I can withdraw funds is by transferring it to a different account & then take them out.

If the net goes down, dont you mean when. It will not be money that causes it but bandwith problems. With technology getting better the internet has grown, video streaming, renting films over the internet and even radio streamed means you nead large servers to handle all the data. Even the servers used by this website have had to be upgraded.
