DOS and Vista

The best you can do with Vista is to go to search. In search type the letters cmd. When you see cmd, you right click and run as administrator. Any DOS commands that can be used will be put in the CMD prompt. Granted very, few. Why no longer used? Guess, MS feels that it is no longer needed.
