Dual Monitor graphics card

I have a new computer with Vista Home Premium x64. I used a dual monitor graphics card in my old computer with Windows XP. Took the card out and install it in my new computer and updated the driver. But, performance is poor. For example I can't use Vista Aero.
I would like to buy a new, relatively inexpensive dual monitor graphics card which is compatible with Vista premium x64. Any suggestions?

What card do you have, maybe it's not old.

i think it would help to know a little about your old card and new p.c before be can give true advice and suggestions

i mean i could say 9800GX2 but this may not be in your budget, to big for your case or even be the wrong card for your chipset

The video card I am using now is a PNY Verto GeForce FX 5200/256 MB DDR/PCI/Dual VGA

now presuming that the card you took out of you new system was Nvidia and that your running on a small budget i can now suggest an XFX Geforce 8600GT 512MB DDR2 PCI-E

or if you have a larger budget then you could have an
XFX GeForce 8800GT Alpha Dog XXX 512MB PCI-E 2.0

£144.47 inc. VAT

however be sure to read the tech spec's b4 you do go get one

if the card you took out of the new pc was an ATI i suggest that you look at getting an ATI card replacement

be sure it will fit in you case, make sure you power supply meets the requirements
and make sure you have enough spare dims to connect any required supplementary power

That is definitely an nVidia card.

Your budget is pretty much your limiting factor...However, that card you have is a *PCI* card as you have listed - does your new computer already have onboard video? If not, you'll be looking for a new PCI-e GA - Depending upon your budget again.

I purchased the eVGA 8800 GTS 512MB JO edition and am mostly satisfied with it, for the money.
