Hello there!
I got a pretty big problem, explorer.exe is using a lot more than it should use.
It hadn't caused any problems since I changed my OS to Vista, but now it started using a lot CPU.I can't figure out why, and I need help.
In the beginning, it used like 0~3% CPU.Now, without any auxiliary programs running in the background. it uses 40~60%, so my CPU usage is 55~75%.I've got an Intel Pentium 4 2.8GHz, HyperThreading(to be fully understood, I don't have any problems with my memory"Physical Memory").
As I run many programs, I usually close explorer.exe from Task Manager to continue the work.
I thought a potential answer would be Windows Dreamscene, but soon as I closed it, nothing changed.
Please help me figure out how to make explorer consume less, as in the beginning.
