I've seen screenshots of the Far Cry 64 bit patch released by AMD. Iv'e downloaded it but when I run the 64 bit version of Far Cry I don't see the lovely new effects when I look at the same objects in the screenshots.
Has anyone had any luck with this under Vista 64?
I've got an E6600 processor and I know the patch was released by AMD for AMD CPU's however people on the web say running on Intel's isn't a problem.
I did a fresh install, then patches 1.3, 1.31 and 1.32. I then installed the AMD 64 bit patch.
I'm running the game with everything at the highest level but to no avail

I know the game is pretty old but I only ever played in online / LAN party's and have been thinking about playing it through with the enhanced content. I know there is a 32 bit conversion of this content but it just isn't the same ;o)
