Does any know how to open a file of type file

What is the file extension? With reference to http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/84215-folder-options.html, deselect Hide extensions for known file types. Please post back if that reveals an extension.

The folder where that file is located may also give a clue.

Looks like there isn't an extension, so there isn't a file type to show. But since it's named INSTALL, I suspect it is an exe. if you already

then try renaming it by just adding ".exe" to the end of it. So it says "INSTALL.exe" without the quotes. But that's assuming it's an exe install file. Like Dwarf said, we really can't help unless we know where it's located or if you know what it's supposed to be/do.
