Hi, this just started happening recently and I have no idea what causes it. Whenever the computer display shuts off to save power after 15-20 mins of idle time, the display would not turn back on again no matter what input is given. The only way to get out of it is a force shutdown. However, all the power / indicator lights are still on and the fans are still running.
This only happens when the system turns off it's own display as a power saving procedure, sleep mode and manually turning off the display do not result in a freeze.
The event viewer didn't help.
Any ideas what's causing this? Thanks in advance.
