Ghost Thumb Drive

I have googled tried everything I could find and yet my Computer, keeps displaying a thumb drive THAT WAS IN THERE, when I try to "safely remove" it says it's use, same thing when I try to eject it.

Because I know the thumb drive has been removed, when I try the only option left "Format", it comes up with "no disk in drive"

I am out of ideas, help please.

Just boot the computer and the problem should be gone.

Did you try going back with a system restore? Your stuff will not be changed.

Well done!! :D Indeed I do have a dumbphone connected, took me a boot into safe mode to realise that's what it was.

The thing that lead me to believe it was a ghost of a USB thumb drive was the file WarTFT_125a_english, (it's a battlenet patch for Warcraft III The Frozen Throne), and how it made it onto the phone I have no idea.

But yes it is a Telstra T3020 Android Dumbphone.
Thanks for your help anyways richc had me stumped too. As for Winblows repair I find them more trouble than helpful. If push had come to shove I would have used my Paragon backup, rather than Microflacid's Restore or Repair.
