Solved guys please help me

i have 2 computers, a long time ago i inistalled a "biohazard 4" game on one of them now i want to copy the game with my work to the other one so i can avoid starting from the beginning again any one can help me do so thanks.

Hello degeniuss,
All you need to do is to install the game on the other computer, play for a few minutes, make a few game saves, then, go to the original PC, find the saved games folder and just copy and paste the saved games.

i did so, i copied the game location in c program files to my hard drive and then to the c program files in the other pc but that did not copy my work in the game as well, with other words when i opened the game it started from the beginning any thing else should i do.

Your saved games will be in a different location to the program files, find the saved games on your C drive and transfer them over.

What game is it ?.

i did not see any folder named saved games.

LOL, what game is it, the clue was in the first post.

Your savefile is right in your game directory. The folder is called Resident evil 4, not biohazard 4 (unless you got the Japanese game). Just do ctrl + F in my computer and search for savedata (full filename is SaveData.dat)

the game named "Biohazard 4" and it is the same as "Resident evil 4".
the game location is "C:\Program Files\Heroes of Might & Magic V CE - Hammers of Fate".
i tried searching for savedata file but no result.

Well in that case, navigate to:

C:\Users\"Your User Name"\AppData

This appdata folder will be hidden, but if you enable hidden folders, then you will be able to see it.

Take a look in there, there should be three folders:

Local
LocalLow
Roaming

Have a look through these for a folder called something like Biohazard, or Resident Evil or the manufacturer, and let us know if you find anything.

By search, do you mean you looked in here:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Capcom\resident evil

guys i found a DAT file with size 827 kb named savedata.dat i dont know if i copy the file will work or not the location is
"C:\Users\my name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Heroes of Might & Magic V CE - Hammers of Fate"
do u think this may help cauz i think there are other things like registry i may need.
any way i will try and post u back. tq

yup that was the right game and i just copied the DAT file to the same destination on the other pc and works great.
