OK something very freakish happened last night i was in the middle of a game and a BSoD popped up. just before i had this type of problem i kept getting random boxes popping up and i would close them and they would repeat which led to BSoD.
now when i turn my computer on as soon as it comes to the splash screen my HDD would go "TIC TIC TIC TIIIIIICCCCCCC TIC" then stop. is this the start of a hard drive faliure?
i am taking no chances i am backing up my most prized games....GTA IV and FSX.
