Help in getting rid of a blank screen

I have been having trouble for a while now when I start up my computer and enter my password I get a blank white screen. Any help in solving this problem would be appreciated.

Hi and welcome

Have you tried a safeboot? (F8 on boot) if it works in safe boot but not regular you can go into msconfig and uncheck till you find out which one is causing it
