Its not norton logo. seems like you are infected with some adawares or something. Try uninstalling norton and if you still see the logo, its a possible wallpaper hijack. Or simply try changing the desktop wallpaper.

just google this and took me to the norton communty where the issue has been put down to a bug. i do also get this some time.
It doesn't "mean" anything, it's a bug in the program where when we create the "toasters". Toasters are the little windows that show up some times when items are being processed etc... Sometimes when we create them, they are not hidden properly and you see what you are seeing, we have not been able to reproduce this behavior in house but have been trying to understand from the few that have seen it what is common amongst those systems.

also this was posted
There is no way to "hide" them, these are not supposed to be shown the way they are, this is a problem with the toaster part of the program. We are looking into ways to reproduce the problem and working on solutions for it.

If you have a way to consistently reproduce the issue, we would like to hear from you.

Thanks,

Matt

dont worry it wasn't a virus just a "toaster" you can fix it by going to task manager and ending the problem or by upgrading to norton v3 to upgrade to v3 check my post or i'll submit a tortorial.
