Help PLEASE!! :(

When I start the PC, after the moving loading bar for Microsoft finishes, instead of going to login screen it gives me a blue screen, and it says Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area.

This just happened overnight!!!!

Help please.

I have tried doing all 3 Safe Modes and tried Last Success Startup Attempt. Nothing works, still same screen.

What did you do recently? New Anti Virus, new games, new program? If you did nothing I suggest that this is a memory problem or conflict with another program.

Anything that you have installed recently should be removed.

I always leave my comp on,and when I came back in the morning it was screwed up.

The only thing I did before that was just downloaded an mp3 and surf online.

And man, I CAN'T remove anything, I can't even start up!! What can I do?

Go to the bottom of one of you desk drawers and dust off the computer manual. Look up how to restore factory default. If you have a Dell I can help you.

Full in all your computer specs. Guessing is hard enough with clues.

I have no idea where the computer manual is,but I know I didn't change any settings in BIOS or whatever. Didn't change any settings. I have Compaq....

You said you tried safe mode and it did not work. I want to try to restore factory specs. You lose everything that you installed, but you have your computer back, likeit was the day you took it home.

Did you get a CD with computer?


You used F8 to get to safe mode? It did not work?

I you take the time to fill in the specs, at least what you know, I may be able to help.

Note that one of the methods, will cause you to lose your data. Games, programs, documents etc.

It needs system recovery disk... dont have those. Sorry, but thanks a lot for all your troubles. I'm trying my best to find answers. Im almost ready to just get a torrent of W7 and just install that over vista.

That is not necessaary, just get a copy of the computer manual, we can fix this.

Call the company for a very small charge they will send it to you. Maybe go to the website

You can get a copy there.

Do not do anything that you may regret later.

I think I am going to install Windows 7, and see if I can still keep my main file. (Im in grade 10 and have a big science assignment due monday ) so ya, im gonna download overnight and repartition.

I VERY MUCH appreciate ALL your help, thank you so much for spending time to help me. I just think my problem needs to be dealt with more impulsive actions if you know what I mean.
