Hello to all I had a quick and hopefully easily fixable question.
I got an older HP Pavilion from my friend who recentely moved. I decided since it was really loud Ill change the fan. Here is my problem. I took out the stock fan and replaced it with a Rocketfish 80mm that I bought about an hour ago from Bestbuy. It as only for a little under 20 bucks and I was told at the store it would be no problem changing it. Well I changed it and now my computer louds up buCt then shuts down due to an error message reading, "CPU fan has failed, shutting fown computer immediately." And it does just that. Is there any way to get around this? Or should I just put the stock fan back in and turn my headphones up
Thank you to all who help me out and Happy New Year to all.
