How to clone the desktop

Had a computer running XP with a Nvida GeForce4 MX 440 video card installed. I could clone the desktop to our big screen TV. Worked great. I now have a new computer running Vista home. I installed the same card in the new computer. I click on the desktop, click on personalize, then display. The only option I now have is to extend the desktop to the TV. What do I need to do in order to clone the desktop?? Is it possible with Vista and this card??

Hello and welcome to vista forums.

Go into the control panel and open the Nvidia's control panel and goto setup multiple displays and look in there.

I may be wrong here, But this sounds like what you are looking for. A 2nd Display of your desktop Right?

Yes that is correct. What ever I see on the monitor I want the same thing on the TV. We use it for presentations at our computer club. It worked great with XP. But on the new computer running Vista Home Premium it will not work (yet).

well the extend desktop may still work for you, as all you need to do is drag the window you want to display to the second desktop, i watch movies on my secondary desktop as im playing games on my primary desktop, its a lot tidier and may just be what you need.
